2010 Nissan 370z (Black Cherry Pearl)

Detailing Samples, by Johnny.

Ever seen a car that changes color? This nissan does! Pardon me on the lack of pictures, I’m leaving the states tonight for a few weeks and I still need to pack HAHA. The fresh off  the lot (used) Nissan 370z got a two step polish followed by a coat of Optimum’s opti-seal to last several months. Rock chips were touched up by Alex’s touch up paint pen and a fine tip paint brush. Ya’know.. I originally wanted to be an architect, till I realized I’m quite artistically inclined. Filling in a few chips though, that I can do. See ya in a few weeks, friends!

Here’s the process:

  • Chemical Guys Citrus Wash with DetailedImage bucket + Grit Guard & DI Sheepskin Mitt + Greenworks 1700psi pressure washer  & Foam cannon
  • DetailedImage Fine Grade Clay with Optimum No Rinse Wash as lube
  • Menzernas P0203S / UDM 4″ / Orange
  • Menzernas P0203S / Flex 3401 5.5″ / Orange
  • Optimum Polish / UDM 4″ / White
  • Optimum Polish / UDM 5.5″ / White
  • Optimum Opti-seal / By Hand / Foam Pad (Synthetic Polymer Sealant)
  • Chemical Guys Window Clean
  • Optimum Opti-Bond tire gel
  • Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner
  • Optimum Metal Polish / #0000 steel wool
  • Touch up paint pen (client provided)
  • Fine tip paint brush (client provided)

  1. Nice job,
I own a 370z in black cherry as well and it’s got tons of chips and the paint needs some love. Wish you guys were in Ohio, would hire you to do the same.

Any tips on hiring someone to touch up some paint chips and detail a car?

    Nice work above,
