2013 Nissan Altima (Metallic Slate)

Detailing Samples, by Johnny.

Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 is a permanent coating that protects automotive paint over its lifetime! Unlike a wax or sealant, Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 will not wash or wear off. It acts as a second layer of clear coat which provides increased protection against the elements.”

What’s going on here? The majority of the cars coming in lately still has their dealership tags on! Word of mouth must gotten to them that I apply opti-coat 2.0 here in the bay area! 🙂 With less than 1000 miles on this Altima, it got a full decontamination and single step of polish to prep for optimum opti-coat 2.0. The rear license plate foam vibration dampener’s were removed, leaving much residue to be removed. A little Stoner’s tarminator and elbow grease and dampen-no-more! I’m exhausted, but here’s the pictures! (Excuse the overexposure, I had it on the wrong setting!)

Here’s the process:

  • Chemical Guys Citrus Wash with DetailedImage bucket + Grit Guard & DI Sheepskin Mitt + Greenworks 1700psi pressure washer  & Foam cannon
  • Dewalt Air Compressor
  • Clay Magic Fine Grade Clay with Optimum No Rinse Wash as lube
  • Menzernas PO203S / UDM 5.5″ / Lake Country Microfiber Pad
  • Menzernas PO95RD / UDM 5.5″ / White
  • Menzernas PO85RD / UDM 4″ / White
  • Optimum Opti-coat 2.0 / By Hand / Optimum Dual-Pro Application(Permanent Ceramic Coating)
