What is a Clay Bar?

Distinctiv_Detailing uses clay to remove bonded contaminates from your paints’ finish, making it smooth like butter. Once the sealant is applied, the sealant is bonded to your paint rather than the contaminates on your paint.

What can Polishing do?
Polish, used after the clay bar, will remove light scratches and swirls by leveling out the clear coat. Depending on the clear coat hardness, more moderate polishes/aggresive pads (Or both) may be needed, followed by a finer polish/pad to jewel the paint.

What is the difference between Waxes and Sealants?

Simply put, the synthetic polymer sealants that I use lasts much longer than waxes. Although waxes do tend to produce a deeper ‘gloss’, clients often opt for the longer lasting topper. Of course, both options are kept in stock in event that a wax is preferred.
