06 Jason Snow White

Last minute wax job on Snow White! Gave Jason’s Ridgeline a must needed LSP (Last Step Protection) job consisting of a all-in-one polish (cleaner/mild polish/Minimal protection) “Optimum Poli-seal”, topped with Menzerna’s Sealing Wax for some added longevity. A clay job was much needed as the paint was pretty contaminated. Not too many pictures as I started the job at 7pm! The interior was dry but nothing a little 303 couldn’t fix!

04 Sam TSX 50-50

Sam drove this TSX all the way from Michigan to San Jose! Most cars in any place other than the bay area have to deal with snow and particularly, road salt. These elements are very harmful to the car in terms of wear and tear. Sam did the right thing by bringing it by right when he got here from Michigan to decontaminate the paint and restore it back to its factory luster. Swirls were abundant, more-so after the dealerships “complimentary” wash (DON’T DO IT!). With a little magic and 8 hours later, I think I brought the life back to the car. Welcome to California, Sam!

04 A4 Ravi Rear after

This detail was actually from last month, but since I’m starting to age and can become absent minded at times, I forgot my camera at my apartment in Sacramento. Ravi was nice enough to loan me his though! Capturing pictures was difficult as I wasn’t familiar with how to use a DSLR properly. There is no ‘noob’ MACRO button HAHA! Anyways, its too bad we didn’t get to see this car before the part out began, but nonetheless, this thing is still quite a beauty. This red beauty was custom painted Porsche’s Guard Red. Jawdropping! The clear coat was similar to that of Audi’s, stubborn. I had to opt for a more aggressive pairing for the polishing step, and with the color being a bright red, marring and holograms showed even if you wiped it wrong… so I had to follow it with the finiest finishing polish. After that, of course, I top it off with my go-to Four Star ultimate Paint Protection.

05 G35 David action

For not being washed in almost a year, the car was actually cleaner than I thought.. the color of the car may have had something to do with it though. A clay bar job was much needed followed by a polish and a layer of sealant. Pictures are lacking as David came a few hours late and I wanted to finish before the sun set. David’s G35 undergone a similar treatment that I many of my jobs go through as reflected in the process below.

01 A4 Arnold Foam Fun

Todays deep red looking 2001 beauty came in with overspray all over the rear right quarter panel! Good thing Arnold brought it to me promptly after finding out that his Audi caught some overspray from the painters next door. The paint was still fairly fresh from the day before so no baked on paint to remove! A lot of clay was used, and a lot of overspray was removed. The entire car got a full 2-step polish treatment followed by the clay, and topped with Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection.

Yes, that foam cannon is as fun as it looks! Haha!
